Draft for legal review, not final. This text has not been approved and may change before launch.
1. Who we are
Drip is operated by a legal entity that will be named here, with its country of registration and contact details, before launch. In these terms, “Drip”, “we” and “us” mean that entity, and “you” means the person or organisation using Drip.
2. What Drip provides
- Vault software on Robinhood Chain that lends deposited USDG and harvests only the interest it earns.
- A credit balance, funded by harvested interest or bought with USDG, that can be spent only on AI models.
- The Drip chat app at /chat and an OpenAI-compatible API, managed in the console at /console.
Features marked with a phase badge are not available yet. Drip runs only on Robinhood Chain and depends on third parties, including a lending protocol and AI model providers, that Drip does not control.
3. Eligibility
You may use Drip only where it is legal for you to do so. Identity checks may apply to credit transfers. See Eligibility.
4. Your wallet and your deposit
- You connect your own wallet. Drip never holds your private keys and cannot recover them.
- The vault contracts have no function that lets Drip withdraw user funds. Withdrawals are limited only by the cash available in the lending market and may be delayed if it is fully borrowed.
- An emergency pause can stop new deposits but cannot block withdrawals.
- On-chain transactions are final and public. Check every transaction before you sign it.
5. Credits
- Credits are a dollar balance that can be spent only on AI through Drip. They are not a token.
- Credits cannot be cashed out or withdrawn as money. Unused credits roll over and do not expire.
- Credits bought with USDG cannot be transferred.
- Credits are recorded in an off-chain ledger. If Drip stops operating, unspent credits could be lost. See the risk disclosure.
6. Fees
- Performance fee: 10% of harvested interest.
- Service margin: 5% on top of the model’s price.
- USDG purchase margin: none today, so 1 USDG buys $1 of credits. Any future margin is shown before you pay.
- Your deposit itself is never charged a fee.
7. API keys and acceptable use
- Keep your API keys secret. Requests made with your keys are charged to your credits.
- Each key is subject to rate limits shown in the console.
- You must follow the usage policies of Anthropic, the provider of the model Drip serves, and must not use Drip for anything unlawful or to harm others.
- You are responsible for the actions of agents and sub-keys you create, up to the limits you set.
8. Credit transfers and DRIP
When credit transfers launch in Phase 3, sending yield-earned credits requires holding at least $100 worth of DRIP in your connected wallet. Transfers have daily and per-recipient caps, a waiting period for newly received credits, and unclaimed gifts return to the sender after a set time.
9. Taxes
You are responsible for the tax treatment of your deposits, yield, credits and DRIP.
10. No advice, no offer
Drip is not an offer of any token or investment, and nothing here is financial, legal or tax advice. All figures are estimates and are not guaranteed. DeFi carries a risk of total loss. Drip is not affiliated with Robinhood, Pons, any lending protocol or any model provider.
11. Liability, disputes and governing law
To be completed by legal counsel before launch.
12. Changes to these terms
We will post changes on this page with a new “last updated” date. Material changes will be announced on the site before they take effect.
